Most smile makeovers are designed by one dentist working alone. At Transcend, your makeover is planned by a prosthodontist, periodontist, and orthodontist, each contributing their specialty to a single, unified design. Patients travel from across Canada and around the world for this level of coordinated specialist care.
The prosthodontist leads the aesthetic vision, designing veneers, crowns, and restorations for shade, shape, and proportions. The periodontist ensures your gums are healthy and beautifully contoured. The orthodontist uses Invisalign or other methods to optimize alignment before cosmetic work begins. And our in-house lab team brings the design to life.
The design itself is where a makeover succeeds or fails. Beauty is subjective — some patients want a smile that reads completely natural, others want it brilliantly white — and shaping teeth, gums, and proportions into what you mean by beautiful is an art as much as it is a science. Every smile makeover starts with understanding the full picture. Our prosthodontist evaluates your teeth, gums, bite, and facial proportions, then brings in our periodontist and orthodontist as needed. Together, they identify what each specialty can contribute to your result.
Unified Treatment Plan
Rather than a series of disconnected procedures, we design one cohesive plan. If your gums need treatment or reshaping, that happens first. If alignment would improve the outcome, we map that into the timeline. Every step serves the final vision.
Preview Your Smile
Part of the workflow we've refined over a decade: digital smile design and custom temporaries let you wear the planned shape and proportions in your own mouth, and a try-in confirms every detail before the final porcelain is bonded. The result is decided with you, not revealed to you.
Phased Treatment
Your makeover unfolds in a carefully sequenced order: foundational work first, cosmetic finishing last. Throughout, our specialists coordinate directly with each other and with our in-house lab team, so nothing is designed in isolation.

Where a smaller enhancement is all a case needs, composite bonding can be the right tool — we use both, and the consultation is where we recommend honestly which your case calls for.
Well-planned, well-executed porcelain lasts ten years or more with ordinary care: normal brushing, regular hygiene visits, and a night guard if you grind. Because your makeover is planned, made, and followed by the same practice, the people who look after it in the years ahead are the ones who built it. What does a smile makeover actually involve?
It depends on your goals and starting point. A smile makeover might be porcelain veneers alone, or it could combine veneers with whitening, gum treatment, orthodontics, or crowns. What makes it a "makeover" is that every element is planned together, even if only one or two treatments are needed.
How long will it take?
That depends on what's involved. Whitening and veneers can be completed in weeks. Cases involving gum treatment or gum contouring typically take a few months. If orthodontic alignment is part of the plan, the full process can take a year or more. We'll outline a realistic timeline during your consultation.
How do I know what I need?
That's what the consultation is for. Many patients come in knowing they want to improve their smile but aren't sure exactly what's involved. Our prosthodontist will evaluate your teeth, gums, and facial aesthetics and recommend an approach that matches your goals.
What if I'm not sure I want to change everything?
Not every makeover is a full transformation. Some patients want to address just a few things — a couple of veneers, some whitening, a small correction. We'll focus on what matters most to you and design accordingly.
Will it look like I've had work done?

What's the investment for a smile makeover?
It varies more than any other treatment we offer, because a makeover is a plan, not a single procedure. The main drivers are how many teeth are involved and which treatments your plan includes. As a reference point, porcelain veneers — the most common element — are $2,500 to $3,000 per tooth. During your consultation, we'll outline the recommended plan and provide a clear breakdown of costs so there are no surprises. Third-party financing options are also available.
